Honey Boba

January 17, 2011 § 1 Comment

Boba was one of those things I never understood. A sweet gummy bear like thing in my drink?! GROSS.

So that’s how I used to think until I had the Milk Tea with Honey Boba at 15 Cats Cafe.

This drink was like the perfect amount of sweet, creamy, icy and chewy in a cup. The milk was slushy and a little sweet. The boba on the bottom was warm so it melted some of the slushy milk on the bottom where it surrounded. And the final yummy-ness is the caramel drizzled on the insides of the cup that melts with the warm boba and milk. So so good. I think it’s the milk being barely sweet that I like, it balances out the slightly sweet boba with sweet caramel.

I’ve only had this drink from 15 Cats Cafe and Half and Half Tea House and prefer the one from 15 Cats Cafe.
